DMG MORI Purchasing

Our purchasing activities cover everything we need to develop and produce our innovations. The central task is to safeguard demand and help create competitive, innovative products, as well as optimise cost structures. Our purchasing division is globally organised and competes in the most important markets worldwide. As a result, this ensures that both production materials/tangible assets and services can be purchased globally to the required quality standards and at the best possible conditions.

“Integrated Digitisation” – DMG MORI uses this guiding principle to shape the future of the manufacturing industry. Digitisation and automation of the company’s own value chain basically affects all divisions. This applies in particular to purchasing, which, with a significant percentage of the overall costs in the value chain, acts as an important link between suppliers and internal consumers. The aim is to have practically all operational procurement processes fully digitised using the following integrated IT solutions. In addition, strategic processes will take care of the planning, control and monitoring of operational processes.
